AJ's Oasis Cafe – Family-Owned Gem in Meriden with Top Wings, Seafood, and Lively Atmosphere

Love the place it's family owned and they are great people and their employees are also great and don't get me started on the food OMG wings are the best they also have a good beer selection as well as pool tables outdoor patio area always a good time.

Great wings! Awesome atmosphere. The bartender on Sunday TJ was hilarious and attentive. Highly recommend!

Simply amazing meal for lunch. Hit the spot and tasted excellent. Keep doing what you do. Definitely recommend for anyone that needs a hearty meal.

Wow! I had their steamed burger, it was really good and the fries were great too. I also had the seafood roll which was OK, just needed some extra flavor I was expecting a little sweeter of a zing but overall a great experience! The service was very good. The blond waitress was very accommodating, even though I didn’t want to sit with my coworkers she insisted on me moving a chair with their table but I was happy where I was. I had to ask for extra ketchup which she acquired for me stealthily, the atmosphere was very interesting and I witnessed what appeared to be locals who just got done from a hard days work, as had I. Before my cohorts and I decided to leave I pardoned for an extra glass of cold tap water, which I hear is of high-quality in Connecticut! The waitress obliged, and after a minute of waiting, I received my cold cup of water and used the public facilities. The bathroom was up to par for my standards and I only decided to wash my hands, but didn’t lock the door or fully close it but left it slightly cracked. Someone proceeded to try to enter and I said “one moment” they politely waited and I kindly exited. Then we left!

I went here because I heard of their great seafood..., when I got there, I was impressed with the atmosphere, just a bunch of people enjoying life. I ended up getting the Mexican Street Corn and the fried artichoke hearts. The Street corn was hot, fresh and plump, so very good. The fried artichoke hearts were the best I've ever had with an outstanding dipping sauce. The 6" personal pan pizza had an incredible crust and everything else was perfect. Go here when you get a chance.

I was told by my Tattoo artist that AJs has really good wings so I decided to give them a try. I have always ordered through DoorDash so I can't speak about service or atmosphere. I have ordered breakfast items (French Toast, Eggs Benedict, Egg Sandwich, sausages and homefries with onions) as well as Buffalo wings, chicken nachos, fries, soup & chili. I can honestly say that 95% of the time the food is always made well and is delicious. I definitely recommend giving them a try if you haven't, they are one of the better places to eat in Meriden.
